Road and gravel biking
Moniga is a perfect starting point for those who love cycling. The roads of Valtenesi are quiet, well paved and with gentle slopes; for gravel there are dirt roads among olive trees and vineyards leading to Salò and Desenzano. Some routes we recommend:

Golf
Lake Garda is one of the best areas in Italy for golf: panoramic courses designed by internationally renowned architects, with lake views. In 20-40 minutes from the Relais you will find:

On the lake you can practice sailing, windsurfing, SUP and kayaking. In Moniga and nearby villages you will find sailing schools and equipment rental centres. The best wind is in the morning (Peler) and in the afternoon (Ora), perfect for those who want to learn. By boat you can also explore the coast in a quieter way.
Trekking and walks
Valtenesi is crossed by well-marked trails among olive trees, vineyards and villages. The most beautiful route is the Via delle Sorelle (from Brescia to Bergamo, 130 km in total), of which you will find easy sections also around Moniga. For shorter walks, the lakefront and the hills around the castle offer spectacular views.
